What is a mutual insurance company?

A mutual insurance company is the reference organisation for all matters relating to the management of your healthcare in Belgium. In practical terms, if you need to see a doctor, buy medicines, be hospitalised following an accident, have an operation, etc., it is through the mutual insurance company that you can be reimbursed. Being registered with a mutual insurance company is therefore mandatory to be covered.

How do I register?

Registration with a mutual insurance company is not automatic, it is up to you to request it. To do this, simply complete the form on this page. You will then receive an email containing all the necessary information and the list of documents to be sent to us to complete your registration.
